Here is the Keyboard layout to input Thai characters on PC.

When you want to type in Thai language, refer to this table.
(I didn't check all kinds of computers. This is from my Windows PC.)

  • About Colours
Light Brown This colour shows the layout of Windows PC.
White Upper: The letters to input pressing a shift key together.
Lower: The letters to input with no shift key.
Light Green The letters in Blue are to show vowels and so on, going along with another letters.

Let's type Thai Letters

  • When type vowels with the letters in the light green boxes

  • วั = [ ; ]key + [ Y ]key
  • ดี = [ F ]key + [ U ]key
  • ผึ้ง = [ Z ]key + [ 7 ]key + [ H ]key + [ : ]key
  • กิ่ง = [ D ]key + [ B ]key + [ J ]key + [ : ]key
  • คุณ = [ 8 ]key + [ 6 ]key + [ Shift ][ I ]key
  • ปู่ = [ w ]key + [ Shift ][ 6 ]key + [ J ]key


  • Example: Let's type "Sawasdee Krab (or Ka)"

  • สวัสดี(Sawasdee)
