| Mukdahan as well is the city around the border of Laos and Thailand
across the Mekong river. The big city, Savannakhet of Laos, is across the river. About 670 km northeast of Bangkok and around 11 hours by bus. |

| Phu Pha Teab National Park (In this park, a lot of funny or strange shaped rocks. From the explanation board (the picture left), this area used to be a river around one thousand million years ago. Because of it, the river carried rocks and they piled and were transmogrified into this kind of shapes. That's amazing, right ? :D ) |
