of elephants live here and you'll see elephant bathing in a river and various

| This is a training center of elephant in Chiang Mai's Maesa Valley. Dozens
of elephants live here and you'll see elephant bathing in a river and various
amazing elephant performances. As well as making friends with kid elephants, you can enjoy the wonderful nature.

| On the way to Lamphun (around 30km away), there is a small shrine called " Chao Por Khun
Tarn " in Khun Tarn. The King Paya Berg is enshrined as a very brave worrier and people believe that this place realize your wishes. (If wishes come true, people present something to thank the god or the King.) It seems that drivers who pass in front of this shrine greet the king with blowing some horns. There is a national park and a cave nearby. By the way, they say that if you go through Khun Tarn Cave by train, you can come back here again someday. :) |

This is a super market near Chiang Mai airport. It is crammed with various products. It depends on time but only some customers were there. (When I visited here again around new year's day, it was unbelievably crowded... :D ) |

Plum (Including Chiang Mai, Northern areas are famous for plum. The middle bottle is around 180 yen.) |
Japanese tea (Not only in Bangkok, but they sell " Japanese tea " in Chiang Mai also. How long does this Japanese tea boom last ? :D ) |
Vegetables (I don't know the kinds but 50 or 60 yen per pack.) |
